2B Choices for Women
2B Choices for Women is a crisis pregnancy center assisting women who suspect they are pregnant and/or are considering an abortion.
Adoption & Infant Foster Care
Catholic Social Services places infants in approved homes of married couples and single individuals. Families are assessed by agency social workers to determine their ability, readiness, and commitment for lifetime parenting.
Pregnancy Support Services are designed to meet the needs of any pregnant woman, whether parenting or making an adoption plan.
The counseling services at Catholic Social Services are open to anyone regardless of religious affiliation. The agency offers these services to adults, children, and families who are encountering problems in their daily lives that go beyond their own abilities to resolve.
The Office of Disaster Preparedness/Response offers education, planning, guidance, and oversight of Catholic Social Services’ disaster preparedness and response programs in the Archdiocese of Mobile.
Disability Ministries & Services
The mission of the Office of Disability Ministries and Services is to assist people with cognitive, physical, and other developmental disabilities to understand, develop, and live out their lives as completely as possible regardless of disability type, severity, or age of onset.
The Service Center of Catholic Social Services provides limited financial and material assistance to families and individuals in times of crisis. Eligibility for emergency assistance depends on the client’s ability to document the need and on the availability of the needed resource.
The Refugee Resettlement Program is a branch of Catholic Social Services created to meet the special needs of refugees. The Refugee Resettlement Program in Mobile is the only refugee resettlement program in all of Alabama. Our program annually resettles between 170 and 200 refugees.
